We had such a good Thanksgiving at my sister Becky's, and her husband, Bill's place in Tennessee. Bill's parents and his sister and her family joined us as well! It was very different from past Thanksgivings, but nice, I was so thankful to have family to spend it with. Pictured above is the beautiful table we set, Joshua even us made us placecards:-)
The Food! On the menu - turkey, ham, two kinds of stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry relish, creamed onions, greenbean casserole, pineapple gratin, and sweet potato casserole. We all ate too much!
Around the table - clockwise - Sarah, Matt, me, Joshua, Becky, Bill, Bill's Mom, Bill's Dad, Cephas, Seth, and Nathan. Dorie is missing since she took the picture.
Things got fruity when Joshua and Bill started a fruit stacking contest with the table decorations....
The title went to Bill who successfully stacked FIVE pieces! Unfortunately the stack survived such a short time that we never got a picture so you'll have to trust me on that!
Dessert! Becky slices apple, pumpkin, pecan, and chocolate chunk pecan pies, served with whipped cream:-)

  2. It was nice. And, yes, that is the shirt, thanks:-) As you can see I did add some lace to it!
    The food was awesome:-)

"Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
Isaiah 55:6,8-1
