Friends...

Last night our very good friends Karen, Abigail, and Ben stayed with us as they passed through South Carolina on their trip from Texas back home to Pennsylvania. It was so good to see them, to talk, laugh, and catch up on each other's lives!

Abigail insisted on washing the dishes.

Ben and Cephas looking at Caleb and Adri's wedding pictures.

Karen.
I think she was sharing the story of their experience at mining for diamonds here. We were all wiping away tears of laughter by the end:-)

A funny website:-)

Ben posed us for an artistic group photo!

Packing up and saying goodbye.

  1. Ahh... visiting with friends! Always such a fun time, but then sad when it is time to part!

It was lovely seeing you this past weekend! Hopefully it will not be such a long time before seeing each-other again.

  2. It was a lot of fun! Thank you for your hospitality! LOL Stories like the one about diamond mining are best after the event and are the sort that can be embellished as time goes on. ;-)

I think our posed picture is one of the best we've had taken. Though did you notice that none of us are standing up entirely straight? We should correct that next time. :-)

  3. You are welcome! It was great you could come, we had a lot of fun with you:-)
As for the standing straight, I guess when Ben told us to loosen up we took him too seriously, lol. It is a beautiful picture.

  4. Hmm. Already the area where you took your group picture looks different. I made the fence look like it does on the other side. And now as I look at that I am pondering to add three or so more sections to each side and bring it all the way down to the gate; otherwise everything is currently the same.

Intense Debate Comments

"Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
Isaiah 55:6,8-1
