The week had an interesting beginning. Monday morning Jenny, Joseph, and I headed off on the couple hour trip to Augusta. I was yawning and sleepy because I had stayed up too late the night before, then got up early to pack and get a couple loads of laundry done before I left. Jenny was yawning even more than me.....thinking back it occurred to her that she had accidentally taken her sleeping medicine that morning! The two of us couldn't stop laughing when we realized that and decided a stop for coffee was a priority:-) I'm happy to say we stopped for coffee, and made it safely here! Since then all has gone well.....Thanks for driving me, Jenny!
I'll end with some verses that have been running through my mind this week, and hopefully, Lord willing, will be back to more regular posts next week.
"Ye that fear the Lord praise him, all ye the seed of Jacob glorify Him; and fear Him all the seed of Israel. For He hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath He hid His face from him; but when he cried unto Him, He heard. My praise shall be of Thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear Him. The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek Him: your heart shall live forever. All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee....they shall come and shall declare His righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that He hath done this."
