Travel plans.....

I can't remember the last time I posted an update on this blog, but I do know a few changes have occurred since then! For one thing I am now officially an aunt, I now have my own computer to post on, etc.

I think this may be the busiest summer of my life so far. A normal week includes at least three days, and as many nights spent at the Es, I was used to that, but then add in five cousins next door, plus a friend and two little girls who have been staying here, lets just say the number of peanut butter sandwiches I have made must go into the triple digits. Then a trip to the library that involves 11 children and 72 books, and I won't even try to give a number for the amount of loads of laundry I have washed;-) These are special times though, being a part of all these children's lives.....as I recently said, not only will I have all my family memories, but now I'll also have all my E family memories.

Today is another busy day that memories are made of....I'm helping the Es get ready to spend a few days visiting family in Arkansas, think laundry, packing, organizing, and trying to keep little ones from napping so they will sleep during their trip tonight. Not to mention answering, "When are we leaving?" Now that I am home tonight I'm packing up for my own trip! Lord willing I leave tomorrow morning for Bassett Virginia where I'll have a fun day visiting, eating, and drinking coffee with friends and family, then that evening head to Lynchburg where I'll spend the night with Caleb and Adri. While I'll miss my church family on the Lord's day (I haven't missed a single week since I moved here in March of '09), I'm excited about worshipping and fellowshipping with my friends in Culpeper. It'll be great to see them again! The following day I'm going up to Maryland to visit my granddad, aunts, and hopefully some of my other relatives - I can't wait to see them:-). Tuesday night I take the train back to Greenville, then a day of rest on Wednesday before I get back to work on Thursday.

All that being said, I don't know how often I will have internet over my trip so may not be posting much for a few days. I'll miss everyone, but Lord willing expect lots of pictures when I come home. I hope ya'll have a great 4th of July weekend!

"Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
Isaiah 55:6,8-1
