My Trip....part 2.....Maryland.....

Visiting relatives and shopping

I spent two very hot, very busy, and very special days up in Maryland this week visiting Granddad and my aunts. This was the first time I had been up there in years and it brought back so many memories.........My grandparents have always lived in Kensington in this house so I've been visiting here since I was a baby!

On Monday my aunts took me shopping:-)

I love bookstores!

My aunts told me they remembered using a typewriter like this....I'm so glad we have computers now!

They bought me a lovely set of these goblets....

......and this pretty dish - thank you!

The next day we visited Aunt Alice where she works at WMZQ radio. I used to sometimes listen to their country station so it was fun to get a tour, talk to one of the DJs as she worked, etc.

Granddad's yard is so pretty.....

.......so many beautiful flowers.

11408 Lund Place.

Memories.....

A very old picture of me.

An old picture of Seth, Becky, and I.

I realized where I came by my love of blue and white decorating!

I found out that Grammy had saved and framed my very first cross stitch project......

Old pictures of my siblings and I.

Posed Pictures...
(thanks to Uncle Kevin for taking these)

Aunt Amy, Aunt Alice and I (yes, they are twins:-)
I laughed when I saw these pictures and realized I had bare feet in all of them. Oh well, they are very me:-)

The aunts and I.

Granddad and I.

All of us together.

Intense Debate Comments

"Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
Isaiah 55:6,8-1
