Greenville Presbyterian at 711 Pendleton Street

Yesterday was Greenville Presbyterian's first week at our new location. We've waited a long time for this, perhaps you all remember my post last January about our temporary meeting place at Level One. Well that turned into a much longer 'temporary' than any of us expected for a variety of reasons.....so we were all happy and thankful to be in our own place! I was also very happy to be back, sickness had made miss the last three gatherings. The building was great, acoustics were wonderful, the singing sounded so good. I wish I could put a recording on here....It was also great to have good lighting, for so long we were in a dark construction zone. We have a lot to be thankful for!
Below are my pictures from our first day, and a few that my friend, Caroline shared with me (Thanks, Caroline:-). I hope you all enjoy them!

The soundtrack on this slide show comes from my favorite Psalm CD, "Performed in Heaven". To buy your own copy - click here.

Last of all I wanted to share part our Old Testament reading that stood out to me.
"..choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days."
Deuteronomy 30:20-21

Intense Debate Comments

"Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
Isaiah 55:6,8-1
