Please pray...

I don't normally do this, in fact I don't think I've ever done this. But  this heartbreaking story, about a friend of a friend, left me wanting to do something......this little guy has 4 older siblings,  and no one realized when his mom went to the hospital to give birth that what should have been a joyful occasion would turn to tragedy. He's in the hospital now, and below is a link to a blog his father is keeping of his progress. Back to do doing something.......I realized one thing we can do is pray, and I could share the story so more people would know about it to pray.
Calum Mackenzie was born at 1.59am on the 4th February 2011. His mother Margaret died just over four hours later at 6.20am. She was 37 years old. She was my wife for just over 12 years. Calum suffered severe oxygen starvation and it was touch and go whether he would survive. This blog will record his progress. The funeral of his mother is due to be held in Struan on the Isle of Skye, but as yet we have no date for it. As soon as I have a date I will post it on this blog.

"Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
Isaiah 55:6,8-1
