Today's thought...

Tiny Blues

"We must learn more and more how to suffer. 'Thy will be done' is one of the heavenly plants Jesus left the seed of when He was here. We must cultivate it in our gardens. And so also there is another, 'The Lord thinketh upon me,' a plant cultivated by King David when he was in exile in the wilds of Engedi. This plant is the believer's 'forget-me-not.'"

    1. Learning how to suffer and unite our sufferings with Jesus' is so difficult, but it has eternal rewards each time we embrace this teaching, learn it, and live it. Thanks for sharing your insights on NOBH! God bless!

    2. Thanks for your thought today; it is a meaningful one. Matching our will to God's will is difficult at times. Everything we have and everything we are is because of Him who created us. The one thing we have to give freely is our will to match his will.
      Blessings to you!

"Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
    Isaiah 55:6,8-1
