Down from the mountain.......

I''m back, and Lord willing this blog will go back to normal now - it was a wonderful week, but I missed everyone and it's good to be back! Today's title has a double meaning, I literally came down from the mountains of Va, but also coming down from the mountains of such wonderful spiritual experiences of worship, singing, fellowshipping.....I feel like I have a million things on my mind this morning as I try to process sermons, conversations, etc. So many blessings and encouragements, and now to apply them, and live them. Last night I felt as if I had my first 'test' when something happened that made me think 'are you just saying that what God is doing is good, not only good, but best, or do you really believe it?' I hope I can say the second.
We were warmly welcomed back by my friends the B family who are putting up the Woods (conference speaker from Scotland) and my friends Yvonne, Brittnay, and myself. Homemade soup, pound cake, wine, love of friends.....and ok, I admit it, internet:-), were wonderful things to come back to. The Lord was good to bring us back safely and to give us such good friends! We had a nice evening together.

Intense Debate Comments

"Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
Isaiah 55:6,8-1
