Courtship days....

Time goes on and a long awaited day is here....well a day I've been waiting for for almost three weeks. Not the long awaited day - that will be June 23rd, our wedding day :-)!

Anyway today my fiance John is flying down for his final weekend visit before he returns again for the wedding. This will be our last courtship visit, and best of all, the last time we have to say goodbye.....the next time he comes, I'll be going with him!

So as before on past visits, I'll be taking the next few days off from blogging to spend time with John, to talk, laugh, work on wedding plans....and enjoy this special time. I hope you all have a blessed weekend, and should be back again next week, Lord willing. I'll leave you with these verses from Ecclesiastes 4, that have been on my mind this week......

"Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor.
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?
And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken."

"Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
Isaiah 55:6,8-1
