Just for laughs....

As we're nearing the end of our courtship days I'm looking back on so many special memories, and a few things, or maybe more than a few that make me giggle. Most of our courtship has taken place over the phone and facebook due to the distance between us, and when we are together on our visits when John flies down we tend to spend a lot of time with the Es, my second family, whom I work for as a mother's helper. I'm blessed that they all love John too and we've had a lot of fun thing that has been especially fun, and funny, is watching the reactions of three romantic little girls who have eyes on every detail and don't miss a thing.

Last Lord's day John and I drove them home from church. It's a special privilege to get to ride in our back seat, and happens to be pretty entertaining for the two of us too. As we were driving six year old Hannah opened her Bible and announced she was going to marry us:

The ceremony went something like this -

"And God said let there be light, and there was light, and God said that it was good.
I now pronounce you wawfuwy wedded husband and wife - you may now kiss the bwide!"

We had a hard time stopping laughing, but after some consideration (LOL), decided to wait and go ahead with our original plan and let Pastor marry us ;-)

On the other hand how many of ya'll can say you've been married by a six year old?! As I said fun times.......Have a great day everyone!

"Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
Isaiah 55:6,8-1
